Haiku Poetry for Fall 2023

A few words to temper the storm…

Sorcerer’s Stone

A crimson light glimmered

of hope inside of my soul

Power was within all along.

Coming down to Earth

They say aliens are here

But I see human bodies

Labeled terrorists.

The Skeleton

I fell out of love

with the broken parts you owned

and your lack of spine.
